I fell in love with the Southwest 29 years ago on my first visit. Since then, I have visited many of its nooks and crannies: Pueblos, mountains, valleys, forests and desert areas. I remain in awe of the mysterious "ancient ones" and their intriguing designs, along with the beautiful desert wildflowers, cacti and breathtaking scenery. I have lived here in Boulder City, Nevada for 19 years and am an active member of the BC Art Guild. Please visit our Gallery inside the historic Boulder Dam Hotel on your way to Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. Boulder City is only 25 miles southeast of Las Vegas. We invite you to the Boulder City Fine Arts Festival , sponsored by the Guild, held on the third week-end in April in Bicentennial Park. Look for me in booth #4. We are also the home of Art in the Park, featuring 400 artisans from all over the Southwest, on the first week-end in October annually. Hundreds of my prints and originals have gone home with visitors from all over the world from the Visitor Center in the Valley of Fire and the Lost City Museum of Archeology in Overton. They are intriguing places to visit! I will have a one-woman show at the Lost City Museum from Oct. 1-Oct. 31, 2009. Come and enjoy!! |
